    To compensate our pet sitters, who must adjust their schedules to accomodate last-minute reservations. Less Than 48 Hours; $20 surcharge

• Cancellation Policies

  Applies to all reservations booked and confirmed via email through our online reservations system:

  • Midday Dog Walks

    If you cancel your scheduled walk by 10AM on the day of the walk, you won't be charged. Cancellations may be made via phone, email, or text, to either your pet sitter or the AFPC office. Walks cancelled after 10AM are charged at the regular visit rate

  • Vacation Visit Reservations

    Non-holiday periods (times for which the holiday surcharge is NOT assessed): If your confirmed reservation total is UNDER $200, the cancellation fee is $25. If your confirmed reservation total is OVER $200, the cancellation fee is 50% of your job total. Holiday periods (times for which the holiday surcharge IS assessed): Any confirmed reservation during a holiday period which is subsequently cancelled is charged a cancellation fee totaling 50% of the confirmed reservation amount

  • Overnight Stays

    Due to the exclusive nature of overnight bookings, our pet sitters must decline all requests for overnight stays that coincide with the dates you have booked. Therefore, we charge a 50% cancellation fee, regardless of when the job is cancelled or the job total

• Holiday Surcharge

  We add a $25 surcharge to any reservations over the following holiday periods (does not apply to regularly-scheduled Monday-Friday midday dog walks). This surcharge is not added to every visit, it is once per reservation, and it is passed along 100% to your pet sitter to compensate her/him for time spent away from her/his family during the busy holiday period:
